Value Education, Value Educator Pay
After another disappointing budget, educators' pay has once again been overlooked and undervalued.
On average, teachers have lost 17 per cent of their pay since 2010.
The Chancellor's announcement on October 27 continued this trend. Please watch and share this short video which explains how educators have been undervalued over the past 11 years.
Despite your contribution to the pandemic and the essential work you do, the Government froze your pay in 2021 resulting in another significant real term cut to its value.
We need to value educators, not cut the value of their pay.
